Bank Asia is the pioneer & leading bank in Agent Banking in Bangladesh. Bank Asia and Bangladesh Post Office jointly expanding banking services in 8,500 digital post offices across the country. To meet the growing needs of its Financial Inclusion and Rural Credit expansion program, Bank Asia is looking for smart, young, energetic, confident, proactive and hardworking fresh graduates for the post of Trainee Business Officer (TBO).

 

Job Responsibilities

• Channel development through onboarding of new agents, agent replacement, outlet close and agent termination.
• Ensuring proper documentation of new, replaced, and closed agent outlets of the assigned area.
• Lead, guide and monitor all the channels of the assigned upazila.
• Regularly visit agent outlets (at least twice in a week) and monitor the activities of agent outlets of the assigned upazila.
• Ensure Deposit mobilization, new A/c initialization with proper documents and customer monitoring.
• Segment wise (retail, CMSE and Agri) loan customer visit, documents collection, loan file processing, disbursement and follow up of loan customer.
• Support the agent and CSO to prepare client database and managing the same for marketing and development.
• Visit agents and client’s business premises/corporate office/project sites at regular intervals to ensure new business as well as recovery of the loan.
• Explore new business and partners (e.g. government safety net activities etc.) of the assigned area and ensure implementation of the same.
• Manage queries of Operations, CRM and CAD in timely manner.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum Graduate in any discipline with no third class / division or equivalent CGPA not below 2.50 on a scale of 4.00.
• SSC & HSC CGPA at least 3.00 out of 5.00 or equivalent.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent ability in speaking and writing both Bangla and English
• Proficiency in computer literacy and sound analytical ability
• Age not over 30 years as on 31st January 2024

 

Job Location

Anywhere in Bangladesh.

 

Salary

• The position offers a monthly consolidated salary of BDT 30,000.00 during the contractual period.
• Based on satisfactory performance, if service is confirmed, then the candidate will be absorbed as Business Officer (BO) with monthly salary of BDT 40,000.00.
